AstraZeneca - Accelerating Our Digital Transformation to Meet Patient Demand for Medicines
Gurinder Kaur, VP Global Operations IT, AstraZeneca
At AstraZeneca, Global Operations represents a significant component of our global footprint, with 26 operations sites in 16 countries and more than 14,000 people. Looking ahead, we are focused on delivering accelerated growth for AstraZeneca, and making people’s lives better. In support of this, we are focused on accelerating our digital transformation across all aspects of our operations, including accelerating plans to create a network of smart factories. We are making prioritized digital Building Blocks available ‘on demand’ so they can be quickly adopted into business processes and where there is an opportunity to optimize, transform or completely disrupt the way we work today. This session will focus on the types of building blocks leveraging AI and predictive analytics that we are integrating into our sites, including advanced CPV, yeild and settings optimization, cognitive vision, augmented training, and factory dashboards.
