Chengli He is a Senior Industry Manager at MathWorks responsible for the Automation and Machinery market segment in the America region. Chengli serves as an industry champion within MathWorks. He leverages his 20 years industry experience, bridges the gap between industry specific applications and MathWorks products. His areas of interest include Industry 4.0, Digital Twin, Model-Based Design, Model-Based Systems Engineering, Data Analytics, AI, and Predictive Maintenance, etc.

Before joining MathWorks, Chengli worked for Siemens for 14 years, where he held principal key expert and product / program management positions in various business units including gas turbine design and manufacturing, technology and innovation, etc.

Prior to that, Chengli worked for New York Power Authority for 3 years where he managed the development of intelligent condition monitoring and predictive maintenance solutions for power plants applications.
Chengli holds an MBA degree from University of South Carolina and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University.
