Framatome

Operational Excellence Manager
Since 2005, I’ve built my career in the nuclear industry—starting as a Mechanical Design Engineer focused on tooling and equipment for complex repairs. For nearly a decade, I deployed to nuclear sites across the country, gaining invaluable field experience and a deep appreciation for the needs of operators and field personnel. In 2013,
I joined Framatome’s Stearns Roger Services team, where I helped maintain and modernize critical refueling systems. This work culminated in the design and installation of a full replacement refueling platform at Brunswick Nuclear Plant in 2018. Alongside my design work, I served as a key admin for our CAD PDM/PLM system, mentoring users and promoting best practices. I also earned my Certified SolidWorks Professional certification during this time. In 2019, I transitioned into Operational Excellence leadership—a role that allowed me to combine my technical background with my passion for problem-solving, continuous improvement, and serving others. I’ve supported multiple business lines, developed a systems-thinking mindset, and in 2021, became the manager of the OPEX group. In this role, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring others in LEAN tools and helping teams drive meaningful change. In 2024, my team and I began leading Framatome’s efforts to integrate Artificial Intelligence into our processes—an exciting new chapter in our journey to improve how we work and support our colleagues.
I’m a proud Virginia Tech graduate (Ut Prosim – That I May Serve) and earned my MBA from the University of Lynchburg in 2020. I’m deeply influenced by Simon Sinek’s Start With Why philosophy and strive every day to lead with purpose, empower others, and make things better—one improvement at a time.
