Bruce Newell

MANTEC

President & CEO

Bruce Newell is currently President and CEO of MANTEC, the Industrial Resource Center (IRC) of South-Central Pennsylvania. MANTEC serves small to medium sized manufacturers in nine counties in SCPA. Mr. Newell has been involved in manufacturing since 1994. His last stop prior to MANTEC was co-founding American Manufacturing & Integration LLC, in 2007. During his tenure at AMI, he has helped grow the company from a start-up to a 40+ person firm serving OEM customers in the Eastern United States.

Throughout his career Mr. Newell has been an advocate of manufacturing and education and their importance to the Pennsylvania economy. He presents frequently to schools, K-12, about the opportunities and careers available in manufacturing and STEM.

Mr. Newell is a graduate of the Indiana University of PA where he majored in accounting and finance and the University of Pittsburgh where he received is EMBA. Mr. Newell and his wife Heather have two children, Kendra and Brooke. Kendra is neonatal nurse at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and Brooke is serving as a 2nd LT in the USAF.
