Aaron Blinka is Principal Software Engineer and Product Security Leader for HMH Pressure Control Systems (PCS), a premier drilling solutions provider. Aaron has worked for this organization since 2008 in various roles, providing leadership to the software team. Aaron has 16 years of experience in ICS software development, including 12 years of experience with Siemens and GE PLC and SCADA technologies. Aaron’s technical expertise spans a variety of software technologies including PLC/SCADA, QNX, C, Python, C#, and SQL. Aaron is an industrial cybersecurity practitioner and is a certified IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert. Aaron led the organization through a transformation to a DevOps approach and culture for HMH’s software development and operations. Most recently Aaron led the architecture and development of HMH’s new SeaPrimeTM and SeaONYX® control system solutions. Aaron holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University.
